I just preordered this http://neogeox.com/ . Can care less about the handheld system part, but really looking forward to playing some Neo Geo on the HD. I know this a gun forum but i plucked some serious quarters in early 90 s on some of these games.

You'll have to tell us how it is. I used to play that Neo Geo baseball game all the time as a kid in Fuddruckers.

90s? Hell...I thought you were gonna re-animate a Pong game or something. 70s computer games were badass.

My favorite was the cheesy dungeon room games that just had wire frame lines to show halls and stuff.
It was for the Commodore 64..[Coffee]
It was fun as hell---BUMP-you walked into a wall- /look-can't see its dark....[ROFL1]
Some of it cracked me up..

Zork
Gapper
Tapper
Curse of the Azure Bonds
Wing Commander
Crescent Hawk's Inception/Revenge
Wasteland

These are some of the things that caused me to fail algebra twice in high school.

(The second time was compounded by the fact that I sat just behind Becky Goodwin and spent most of my limited attention span trying to surreptitiously peak down her shirt.)

We used to play Samurai Showdown II at the old Pizza Hut that used to be here in Evergreen... That was my favorite game growing up- I must have dumped at least $50 in quarters into that game! [Beer]

I forgot that Pizza Hut had a sit down place until you just mentioned it. My dad and I spent lots of days in that place.

If you really want to go retro on some games, come on over, I've got an Atari 2600 down in the basement somewhere....

Do you got Missile Command ? That is one of the games that are misplaced, and is still MIA...

And I can remember the Commadores, I think "Brick House" was one of their best songs.........

I think I do as a matter of fact [Tooth]
Now I'm gonna have to go through my boxes of old game stuff to see what I have..
Maybe one of these days on a snow day I'll get creative and hook up all the old gaming consoles that I have.
Some of the older games I can play forever!!
Some of the newer ones dont last as long-they dont fair well to being thrown out the window...[Coffee]
