View Full Version : Boost mobile?
Anyone has experience with them? From what I understand they use Sprint network?
I'm thinking to switch to no contract/no BS cell phone provider and Boost has the best plan - $55 unlimited everything, sounds pretty good...
PS oh, and phuck the Tmobile, I am through with them.

I don't like DT (T-monile). I think Tmobile will probably have a spectrum issue with MetroPCS.
FUnny crap is, I just heard from my wife that my wife's sister's husband (brother in law) Just got a job at Tmobil headquarter inSeattle area.
Great.......
I am a Sprint guy.
Yes, Boost Mobile is prepaid Sprint-Nextel.
However, it is 2G iDen technology. It is a good prepaid phone company, if you want the i-den technology (push to talk). However, if you just want the regular prepaid phone, I would recommend Virgin mobile. That is what I use. Virgin Mobile is part of prepaid Sprint.
BTW, DanHEsse (CEO) of Sprint already said they will get rid of Nextel 2G iDEN by end of 2Q2013.
I thought they are 4G network, at least their $55 plan called "unlimited android" and includes 4g...

Sorry, my dumb@ss mistake. I was thinking about Boost mobile long ago, when they had mainly push to talk. Whenever someone says "Boost Mobile", I still think of them has prepaid Nextel.

The iDEN towers are already getting converted or turned off. We use Nextel at work and they almost don't work at all. The company is switching to Sprint, just not everyone at once. I'm really going to miss real push to talk. The app PTT is junk. I don't have them, but another vote for Straight Talk. They do work anywhere.
Wife had Boost for along time. It was pretty good.
