So I've out hunting coyote's here in CO and I've been using a 308 Win and it blows a hell of a hole in them. So I was thinking of using my AR in 223 but all i have is 30 round mags. I've looked in the small game book and didn't see anything about round limit's for coyote. So thought I'd ask here. I know back home in ND they don't have a round limit for coyote hunting, just not sure here. Thanks.

you'll see some posts in the other calibers sections, but 6x45 in ar is my go 2 gun. 22-250 is my thumper though, but it's heavy.

+1 Drops them with authority compared to the 223 and just a barrel change is required in an AR chassis.

To my knowledge. you can just blast away...no capacity for varmints...Do you have a call? I have never used a call..We just drive around the prairie looking for them ( have a buddy with access to 2500 acres )
