Gross as it may seem, while eating roaches and worms can result in health issues days or weeks later, that isn't going to kill you within an hour. Something else killed this guy.

Pending an autopsy, the theory is anaphylaxis, apparently roaches have similar proteins in their shells to the ones that cause seafood allergies.
