Here's some quick pictures of my new DSA FAL. It's a SA58PCONG, a Para Congo with extreme duty extended scope mount, full length rail interface handguards, SAW grips, and NP3 internals. The Duracoat covers all the accessory parts and it looks great! Sorry about the pictures - my camera died and I'm using my wife's at home.

This close up shows the NP3 coated controls standing out nicely from the black Duracoat.

Here's the other side.

It was a lot nicer in person than I was expecting. The rail interface handguard matches the scope mount perfectly and the fit and finish is impecable.

Hopefully I'll be able to get it to the range this weekend and get it sighted in and broken in.

Very nice if at any point you need my (cough) expertise (cough) at breaking a firearm in let me know. [Beer]

If I don't get to the range before the next shoot, I just might have to bring it and my XCR along with a lot of oil and cleaning equipment. I'm not too sure about the DSA recommended breakin of cleaning after every round for the first ten and then after every other round for the next ten. I've never broken in any of my other rifles that way. Any advice from your (cough) copious experience?[Beer]

Fire, clean, fire, clean, repeat is how I was taught to break in barrels.

I cut up some new foam for my Pelican case to hold both the XCR and my new DSA FAL with one ACOG. I still plan to add a Sig pistol, probably my P220, but here's the new setup so far.

Here's another view.

Here's a closeup of the right side - the ACOG has an elastic cover that came with it. Note the quick disconnect sling mount on the XCR for a Vickers two point sling. It has the split ring attachment from Blue Force Gear.

Close up of the center where the two vertical grips almost touch. The XCR has a Tango Down while the FAL has a FAB Defense Line grip. The thing that looks like a hole on the handguard of the XCR is the Daniel Defense rail mount QD sling mount. The XCR has magpul rail covers while the FAL has ladder type rail covers.

Here's some shots of my new DSA FAL. This one has the extreme duty extended scope mount and full length rail interface handguards with Robar NP3 coating on the internals. This shows the grip area with the NP3 coated parts sort of a satin grey against the black Duracoat. Very striking looking in person.

This shows where the rail interface handguard and the extreme duty extended scope mount meet. Note the ladder style rail cover. I didn't have enough to cover the rail on the top.

A slightly different angle. Note the handguard is completely open for cooling and the operating rod with it's recoil spring is clearly visible.

And finally, the muzzle area showing the flash hider and sling mount. The silver object is the gas valve adjustor. It can be adjusted by hand.
