View Full Version : Runaway Slave
Mark your calendars...On October 19 this comes to AMC Westminster here in CO... It's featuring Herman Cain, Allen West, Andrew Breitbart, Glenn Beck, and Alfonzo Rachel (one of the other people on PJTV with Bill Whittle, oh yeah, he's in it too!).

About damn time!
About damn time!
Yeah, you should see some of Alfonzo Rachel's "Zonation" on PJTV's YouTube channel (same as Whittle's "Afterburner"), that's where I heard about this documentary- his main points are that not all blacks are liberals, a lot of liberals are racist (and claim conservatives are to cover it up or whatever) and that conservatism is actually a good thing. What? He wants his community to pass up free money? Many of those people are on some form of government assistance and quite a few have all their bills (rent, food, utilities) paid in full by the government. Sadly, I do not think this will be a popular message. To many feel they are "entitled" to this money to recompense them for something which happened to a few of their ancestors 200 years ago.

Well it's not just blacks on welfare and public assistance but you are right some people you won't be able to talk any sense into. But if we can convert anyone of any color, race, creed or religion away from liberalism and "entitlement" it is a job well done in my book. If we can influence more people to revive the American dream to want to work and want to be successful that only helps our country to get back on track. The more people we can convert the better chance we have of not heading down the same path as Greece or Spain.

I would also like to point out that it isn't just blacks on welfare but I think it is planted in our brains that the majority of the black community is on government assistance. Plenty of white people are on government assistance as well as blacks and I certainly don't believe it's the majority of the population.
I am very happy to see great black leaders like Herman Cain and Allen West and encourage the black community and all community to get away from liberal and socialist ideas and encourage cutting ties with the government as much as possible. Because that is the message I preach.

MOST public assistance clients are white, but then again so is most of the population. In quite a few urban communities it seems as if a disproportionate number of blacks have EBT food assistance, which generally is at least $300 monthly. It is widely seen as an entitlement. Any politician or activist suggesting that they give up their EBT will be largely ignored. $300+ monthly is the better part of a car payment.

6.5% of 79% is considerably more than 13% of 13% of the total population. I'm guessing you weren't a stats major[Coffee]

So I'm not sure if you're agreeing or disagreeing. What's your point here?
