Everything is set to go for Saturdays match.

See you there.

Remember to check here *before* you head to the range in case there is a weather cancel.

Anyone know about historical numbers of amount of people that show up in this month? I'd like to do a side match, but not if 90 people are still showing up to the match.

The previous year's scores are posted on the FRIDPA page; this will give you an idea of what the October attendance is like.

I don't think that the cold weather keeps the hordes of new shooters away...

-- Weather Warning for 13-October-2012 Match --

If dry we shoot a regular match, if light rain all steel, if rain/snow cancel.
The decision will be made on the range during setup.

That's good! There must have been over a hundred shooters at the last IDPA match that I went to (a couple of months ago). It was a fun one nonetheless.

Have fun tomorrow!!

Thanks to Mick and crew for braving the elements to put on another great match. Weather turned out to be pretty decent, all things considered.

Had a good time. Really appreciate what the volunteers do, as I was getting grumpy trying to pull the stakes out of the ground on just one stage, let alone all of them.

I'll go cry in a corner til next year, then.

I think 24 FTDRs for one guy on a single stage must be some kind of record! :D

Yeah, how did I miss that?

I forced myself to slow down this month and had better scores than most of the rest of the year. I was especially happy with stage 3. Warren and Rhett got me all excited to have some fun on that stage and I ended up rocking it.

Stage 3 was a lot of fun. Most of the shooters in my squad stopped at the left side of cover to shoot the far left plate that was obscured by the no shoot. I risked shooting all plates from the right side of cover, and it paid off.

Looks like a scoring error for the shooter with all the FTDRs. The results on the website are different from what was emailed out earlier.

Hi Folks,

After Saturday's match we came up missing one timer, three red staple guns and the "Beware of Zombies" police warning tape. Please check to see if you have any of these items and let me know if you do at INFOremovenospam@FRIDPA.com

Cheers,
Mick

Thanks to Mick and everyone that put this match on. It was my first and I had a blast. I will definitely be back to try and improve.

FYI - there was equipment that came up missing at the end of the day.

1 shot timer
3 red staple guns
"Beware of Zombies" police tape.

If anyone knows of their location, please post or contact Mick.

Would not be the first time things were put in the wrong box or accidentally taken home in the range bag (guilty myself of leaving a shot timer on my belt just to find it when I got home).

I started in bay 1.
