Looking for an am eatery, near childrens hospital (18th & high st area) or along park ave corrider, from I-25
If you say it's good breakfast eats, i'll trust ya. Looking for something open in the 6am time frame.
I am on a limited window to eat. So no matter how great the food is, if they cannot have it on my table within 15min after the order is placed, Please do not suggest i stop there.

I was gonna suggest this- great greasy spoon type of place! And at that hour you should be able to get served pretty quick- but weekends after 8 it gets pretty crowded. [Beer]

Snooze @larimer and Park ave opens at 8am?
.

I would vote for Snooze, but they open at 6:30. Past the 6 AM Jim mentioned.

The Denver Diner pick is what I would run with.

Pete's Kitchen for late night dining.

Pete's Greek Town for normal dining.

Basically the same diner food you are used to.

I would stay away from Snooze if you are in a hurry. Way too hipster for you Jim. If you were looking for hipster and had the time, try The Hornet on Broadway or Jelly Cafe at 13th and Pearl. Very good donuts and homemade jelly.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. 6-6:30 works and the one off 20th? looks interesting.

There use to be a place off broadway called mary's that had good eats and another place we use to hit was the Brick Oven Beanery on colfax. Don't even know if they are still in business.

The hipster places i would not fit in,maybe. I hear hipsters like piercings and Tattoo's, I want to look at colored pictures i'll read the sunday funnies:)

I always vote for Denver Diner

how the hell do you get kicked out of the Double D ?

It's a Drunken DMZ. I've been there more then I can count and I've never been kicked out LOL

Get the mass confusion. YUMM

Pete's is not bad and by 6am it's slow enough to get served quickly It's also 1 block from my place. ( I'd say I'd join you but me and 6am only get along if I am either still up or getting paid really well LOL )

either are less then 3 mins worth of drive away from the hospital.. I think snooze is maybe 5 mins away.. and I hear the food is never worth the wait.

I seriously don't understand the love for Denver Diner.

I have eaten their probably 6 times in my entire life and have always left feeling disappointed and wishing I had just gone to Denny's. Now THAT'S sad.

Jim

I think your a hipster at heart. You have the common sense of a normal person, but the appearance desire to fit in with the hipsters. Thats what SEAL training taught you.... blend in, dissapear and be one with the enemy[ROFL1][ROFL2][ROFL3][LOL][ROFL1][ROFL2][ROFL3][LOL]

Devils Food is a bit Hipster but easily the best place in Denver to eat breakfast. I think wash park may have changed a bit Jim since your last visit.

I dont know which Denver Diner you went to, but the one off Colfax and Speer has greasey spoon breakfasts
I forget the name, but their biggest heartiest breakfast...eggs sausage bacon and ham with huge pancakes
is cheap and very tasty. You get probably 1/2 that anywhere else for the price.

These wonderful times were in 2002-20005 when I was down there a lot

I guess after this incident, the owners will make a bigger deal out of stupid shiat. [Bang][Bang][Bang]

Yep, that same diner.

Maybe their breakfast is good, but every other type of meal I have had there was sub par at best. And I am not a picky eater by any means.

College Inn on 8th and Colorado used to have a skillet covered in green chile called the Hangover Helper. It's not really on your way and I don't think is open early enough anyway.

Not then, on sheridan out of town, there was one who looked like she was going to the day shift. If her hot pants were any tighter, i could have counted the hairs the brazilian wax missed.
