View Full Version : Surefire 918fa for Rem 870
I've been lusting for this recently. But it's a chunk of change for me.
Anyone have one? You like it?

Anyone have one? You like it?I'll say! At $285.00 that's a whole lot of change! It's nice but....?
It's nice but . . .
that nice? Tell me about it. That amount of money is more than the shotgun cost.
Since it's primarily for defense, maybe I should just keep a friggin' road flare under my pillow, and heave that down the stairs.

I have one on my house gun. They are nice, but a bit heavy.
I got mine from Brownells a few years ago and I think they were maybe $235-ish.
Yup, house gun. Mine's an 18-inch 870 with a full bore and a front bead. That is, pretty basic. The Surefire has a nice reputation, but it is a lot of money.
For that much, things like the Lasermax tactical laser/light start looking good at $199:

I dunno. If someone had a rave review it might be easier to pry my wallet loose (it seems to be stuck) . . . I guess that's why I posted initially. Thanks.
