The little woman and I took the NRA basic pistol class from him a few months ago. I recommend him – he was patient with all of the female class members and did not make any of them feel like they didn’t belong there, he was knowledgeable and extremely helpful with any questions or problems. He is also a good person to be around. I plan on taking an advanced pistol course from him in the near future.
As for the class material it self- if you have done any shooting at all you will probably know the majority of it before you walk into the class, but you need that piece of paper to get your CCW.

I went to Larry Johnson at On Target in Aurora, on Parker Rd. near Havana/Iliff. I thought it was good, but kinda pricey at $150. Might be booked up too, call and see. http://www.ontargetfirearmstraining.com/
