Welcome to the forum! Tell us something about yourself, fellow Mountain Dweller!! [Coffee]

Well I am Colorado born and raised. Besides a 6 year stint living in Durango I have lived in Evergreen my whole life.

Colorado is the best place to live IMHO!

I have been shooting for about 20 years now and still love it as much as I did when I first started.

I got into the world of AR's a few years back with a Colt sporter 18" heavy match barrel but don't really shoot that one too much. A few years ago I really started diving deep into the carbine side of AR's. I started with an M&P 15-22 because I could afford the it and could still feed it. I put somewhere in the neighborhood of 20,000 rounds through it in about a year. It helped that the range was a 15 drive from work and home so I would go twice a week. I ended up selling the M&P to help fund moving back from Durango.

About a year ago got to go to an AR-15 armorers course taught by Ned Christiansen with a few friends. We all bought PSA kits and assembled them in the class and had a blast doing it. After that I helped my brother assemble his own AR and am now working on my third. Bad timing to build another one right? [ROFL1]

I'm hoping I can get my calander freed up a bit so I can make it to a few competitions soon. I really want to start shooting IDPA.

Sorry if I got a bit long winded, I just love talking about guns and figured it wouldn't hurt to give some of my background and experience with the platform. :)

Thanks again everyone!
