.300 win mag hunting project

Took some advice from a few fellow members, this was my first camo job. I've never had the guts to put spray to one of my guns before. bought this savage 11 trophy hunter XP .300 win mag with nikon BDC brand new, never fired a round yet and put down some spray!

here are the results! even did a subdued punisher skull...fits my whole gun scheme!

pics are in reverse order. complete backwards to part way into the painting. didn't really do a good job taking pictures of the before/after or the base coat.

Looks great, especially for your first go around. Punisher was a nice touch too. Did you end up not using the fern leaf?

I saw this thing in person at the prairie dog shoot thingy last weekend. Looks just as good in person.

No fern leaf, just a cardboard cutout pattern I made. I would probably use some better colors next time as this was the very basic camo colors. Some rattle can kit my dad bought me when I was considering painting my 97 silverado!
