Sadly I got dragged into an argument with a moron liberal today. Shame on me for letting it happen but I posted a clip from Fox News where they interviewed a former CIA Station chief about what the White House knew about Benghazi and when they knew it... Dude immediately jumped on the news source(fair enough, I get it) and this ensued...
I probably should've had better comebacks but it's hard to argue with someone when they change the subject. I feel dumber for letting this happen.

That's the link to the video...
Funny Ho w he said "faux news " is not a real news.
To me , the dumbass Disney mickey mouse ABC news is not a real news.
I have had this argument before as well. Ask him tell you what main stream media source isn't biased. I have even had one of my libtard friends try to post some news articles from a source that was supposed to be non biased. When I researched the author of these articles it was shown to be a person on the Obama re-election campain. When I asked about that, well you guessed it, the point changed to something about bashing Bush. There is always 3 sides to a story and thats what I try to find!

Just tell pete... despite the medium, the CIA station chief has much more experience, and better judgment than Pete (whatever he does for living).

I agree rop, I hate the news so I always read at least three articles about something just to get the correct information and make my own decision.
I get that he doesn't like Fox but he ignored my response to his "they're retired what do they know" and went right back to making fun of Fox... ok would you take it as gospel if it came from CNN or something?
I have found in my debates with some of my friends that have had their brains fall out, is that when you call them on their points they cant back them up. Instead they change to the next talking point that is in the libtard manual. I have taken them to task on every one of their points and when I asked them questions, it was only answered with another question. Best advice is to avoid having a mental battle with the unarmed!

After decades of discussing/arguing with people, I have come to the realization that I have never changed one persons mind on anything. Maybe I'm just a bad debater or we're all a bunch of suborn jackasses.

I have a saying I occasionally trot out with my subordinates:
"Never has there been an argument between a wise man and a fool."
There are other, more common versions, such as this one from Proverbs 26:4 -
"Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him."

The instant anyone says "Faux News" I shut down the discussion with "Faux News? Ok, you're too stupid to have a reasoned debate with. Goodbye."
And then I block any further communication with said idiot.
Proverbs 26:4 - Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself.
EDIT: HA JohnnyEgo and I must be on the same wavelength here ... great minds and all that :)

I like that
First off, that is facebook so you are friends with the guy. Obviously he is a big mouthed idiot so convinced of his own superiority that he is not worth talking with much less reasoning with. Pick your friends wisely and you wont have to deal with this. Some people are just too ignorant to actually be able to take in a plethora of information from various sources, analyze it and make a rational argument in a respectful and meaningful way. Right or wrong in an argument, acting like a pompous dick bag will always screw you over in the long run.
I had a friend that acted like him, he said the wrong thing to the wrong guy in a bar and got the crap kicked out of him so bad that he is on permanent disability.

I'm actually not friends with the guy. I shared that video with a friend of mine and I've never met this idiot before but he must be friends with my buddy.

Same here. Whether its politics with "faux news" or computers with "Micro$oft" type things, it's just to be delete them immediately and save yourself the headache.

Not just that- but is it possible that this former station chief still has contacts with the agency that can give him unclassified info? Oh wait, it totally is! I'm not longer read on at a TS level with the 10th Mtn, but I still have friends who work DIV S2 that send me unclass reports on what's going on with my old unit...
That's the problem with liberals... as President Reagan once said:
