While I appreciate the point he is trying to stress (there are huge problems in the story of O) agreed, STFU Donny.

I did hear an interesting argument to this however: O claims to be a champion of the underpriveledged and poor. He takes Donny's offer and provides 5 million reasons to the underpriveledged and poor to vote for him.
He ignores the offer and he is just continuing to hide something.

This was discussed yesterday in the Rasmussen thread in Legislation & Politics... I reiterate what I previously said:

Actually that's pretty smart, because if he applied as a foreign student that would mess up his record for being "American born" and if he puts any aliases (He used to go by "Barry Sotoro"- or however the hell you spell it) it would disqualify him for the Illinois bar, and he could be charged with fraud. Not to mention, it would provide some much needed transparency from this guy, something he promised, but has yet to provide much of.

I think it's hilarious, but poorly thought out. It's too much like a ransom threat for my taste. Nevertheless, I too would love to know the truth about our current president's past... Is he really an American citizen, for 100% certain? Maybe if he is not reelected, maybe he'll be more likely to release his college applications, transcripts, and passport application?

I am kinda torn on this. On one hand if he were to have made the demand in a different manner, something more appropriate, we would be getting records similar in value to his photo-shopped birth certificate. This way there is no chance that he will have time to accumulate and complete the research needed to fake and recreate a past without making a mistake. They would need to be genuine, or close to it for him to be able to release them.

On the other hand I think that it is a stunt that is not needed at this time. it undermines certain decencies of conduct that we should maintain to our highest office. Not that BO deserves it, but presidents past and future are to be treated with respect because it says something about us as a nation if we do not show respect to our elected leader. We all know now that he is not really worthy of such respect, but at the end of the day the damage has been done let us find a way to replace him before he can do more damage to our country, economy, and self respect as a nation.

I think a more appropriate gesture would have been to say around September of this year that he would donate 5 million to his re-election campaign if he released the records within one week. Or that same money would go to Romney's election campaign. If it is a political stunt, then keep it political leave charities and the rest of us out of it. I would like to see the records too because I have a good feeling that they would show us that he is truly not eligible to be our president and it would go a long way to explaining why he has never had our national interest in mind as a priority.

while I really like what he says, and I know obama won't put the info out there because it will fuck him in the end, Trump needs to stay quiet until after the election. don't want to screw up Romneys chances. i am at the point I just want Obama in history instead of having 4 more years and fighting to get him out.
