I have a middy that I want to keep the fixed front rights on, but I want a smaller diameter extended taught on it. I like the Troy trx extreme, but again, I want to keep the fixed front sight. I know Samson makes their evolution rail that will add some coverage, and I was hoping the Troy Delta rail would be done for midlength as well, but it look like it's only being done for carbine systems. Does anyone else know of another option?

I think Daniel Defense offers one.

The centurion is an excellent rail, but this is a beater AR, I don't plan on putting a $300 rail on it. $150, to $200, sure.

If you're crafty you could find a used Troy rail and just cut a notch for the front sight.

Would have to one DAMN big notch to account for the Troy "slide and rotate" installation...With an Alpha rail anyway.

I have notched a few different ones, can't recall which manufacturers off the top of my head right now though but it is an option.

I actually kind of like that diamondhead rail. Though I can't find a place where it's in stock.

Hey BP,
Didn't you do a custom job on someone's FF rail to retain a fixed front sight ?
