Check out Big Skinny wallets (http://www.bigskinny.net/) Very cool. Very thin. Pretty well made, not too expensive at all.
I just use a leather money clip from fossil. Has slots for my cards and a magnetic cash flap. I like it but its not great if you keep a bunch of cash on hand. I'm married so I don't have that issue. [ROFL1]

I've been wanting a leather ID wallet from Saddleback Leather Co. for a while now.
http://external.ak.fbcdn.net/safe_image.php?d=AQAetJhzUBDWP8Mi&url=http%3A%2F%2Fecx.images-amazon.com%2Fimages%2FI%2F51%252B6Nbg26hL.jpg
Their warranty is awesome too:
We, at Saddleback Leather Company, pride ourselves not only on our over engineered designs, but also on the fact that we use the greatest thread, rivets and leathers we can find. All of our products are fully warranted against all defects in materials and workmanship for 100 years. If you or one of your descendants should have a problem, send it back to me or one of my descendants and we’ll repair or replace it for free or we'll give you a credit on the website (be sure to mention the warranty in your will).

Looks pretty neat, how much side to side play is there in the hinge?
I've been using one of these for about 7 or 8 years. It's held up great.

The SKD wallet looks cool, but I haven't carried a nylon wallet since the sixth grade, and I don't think I am tactical enough to pull it off in the tail end of my 30s.
I could go for the plastic wallet on the first page if it could survive me standing on it. Or if it was water-proof, because I have washed mine several times.
I definitely need a new wallet, as mine is essentially a few strands of leather held together by pocket lint at this point.

This...I've used the larger version since 2001. I've tried others, but haven't found anything else that works as well. I'm about to order another one.

Nice, I think I'm gonna order one. I don't weigh very much, it looks like it would hold up just fine.
I like the flipside wallet. The skdtac looks nice too.
Thanks for all the replies.

Coach all the way, and no I'm not gay.
.............I was going to say the best wallet is the one you can keep money in. [Coffee]
I have a "Big SkinnY" ......... (minds out of the gutter guys) ...........wife bought it for me couple years ago. Great wallet.

Hopefully you're buying them at the outlet stores or you're overpaying! They look nice, do they last long? My BigSkinny wallet has been the best I've bought in years.
Always hit the outlet for them. I use my wallet constantly and my old Coach one lasted 5 years and it didn't need replacing. Wife got me one anyway. I still have the old one I think if the OP wants to work out a cheap deal.

I've always just dug through the bin up by the cash registers at Ross (http://www.rossstores.com/) and found a decent leather wallet for cheap.
Although the idea of making a duct tape wallet out of Gorilla Tape has intrigued me (but frankly is going to look rather ghetto no matter how well its made).

I have the same. Had it for 5 years, still like new but I removed the chain because it was jacking up my paint on my right bag on my bike.

I got the Saddleback wallet for Christmas. It's super thin, and the overall dimensions are smaller than any other wallet I've had. I only have 4 cards (DL, CHL & 2 CCs) in it. The great thing is that it's small enough that I can comfortably carry it in my front pocket.

I have nerve damage in my rear end from sitting on a really thick wallet for several years of a job where I sat in a car and drove around the state all day, every day. Now I carry a really thin wallet, or if it gets too thick, I have to carry it in my front pocket or it starts to hurt like a b****.

I'm sorry, $115 for a fucking wallet is insane ... unless you're one of those guys that lights his illegally imported Cuban cigars with $100 bills.
Seriously, the $10 Kenneth Cole leather leather wallet I picked up 5 years ago at Ross is every bit as good a wallet and if you don't like your wallet to look even slightly worn you buy a new one every six months and its still almost 6 years before you've spent $115 for a wallet.
Seriously, buy a $10-20 wallet and give the extra $95-105 to the NRA or RMGO or something.

Eh it's about durability and quality. The black one I've had since 1999... The dark brown one I've had for a little over 6 years? and the other one I haven't really used much I've had for a long time. But the other two have been carried every single day since highschool, and I still carry the brown one every single day.
