My buddy is getting married. Sucker. Anyway, I'm trying to decide on his wedding gift. My wife tells me that I have to get something for both him and his bride, so here I go. Two gifts, his and hers. His is an AR15 lower. Hers is a lower parts kit/buffer tube assembly. I can probably come up with some bullsh&$ about a marriage of the two gifts to come together as something greater than the sum of their parts... But mostly, my buddy gets the start of the AR he's always wanted!

I think you should get her some pots and pans.

The groomsmen and I got our buddy a Gen4 G-21. Sure wish my buddies were that nice when I got hitched.

Yeah, but SHE might spend it on frilly crap, or home "decor" (first time I ever typed that word!). This way, he gets a gun. But I like the other ideas... Maybe his gift can include some AR manuals, and hers can include a cookbook!

Dude don't piss her off, trust me it makes hanging out with your buddy nearly impossible.

BTW bravo on the lower, why not just get them each a lower and call it a "couple's" project

Don't drink the koolaid! [ROFL1] Stick with the AR lower/parts kit & buffer idea. Your buddy will thank you, and you never know...she might wind up a shooter after they build it together!

Think of the future!

Give them a presentation cased matched set of dueling pistols with a engraved plaque on it that says "This Is the Way It Ends".

There is no better way to encourage them to stay together.
