No just his zombies...
I don't know why but this is the first thing that came to mind. Props to those that don't have to look up the quote. :)
"I started swearing to my god and on my mother's grave
That I would love you to the end of time
I swore that I would love you to the end of time!
So now I'm praying for the end of time
To hurry up and arrive"

Im thinking just less people.
The town I grew up in has doubled since 1990 and I need a GPS just to drive around in it.

Texas is a red State. Shouldn't you be appreciative of Texans coming in to offset the influx of Californians?
I mean, otherwise by this point you'd already have melted your gun collections down to make an Obama statue for the town square and you'd be forming a drum circle around it to sip no-larger-than 16oz iced lattes.

That's what I was thinking. As much as they suck at driving in the snow, we need more Texans to offset the Kalifornication we experienced in the mid/late 90's. Besides, didn't most of them Texans already live here once before the big oil bust?

Yeah. I'm sooooo sick of these TFR's (for non-aviation types, that's a Temporary Flight Restriction, established around a 30 mile radius to make sure none of us peons gets too close to the Messiah in one of those flying contraptions.)
Texans are always the problem [Bang]
The Texans I am associated with appreciate this state and don't want to ruin it. I believe most of our beliefs would align almost exactly. We aren't as fucked up as you would think...

Without us 'radical' Texans, CO would be overrun by Californications (or whatever). Need a bit of balance....
Sweet iced tea, thanks.

Hey, I like the snow. I actually put forth effort to force my 4wd into 2wd so I can play in the snow(as long as I'm not around other innocents). However, I realize my limitations. I am not an expert. At least I can sense what water is and can still color in between the lines in a slight drizzle in the summer, and do not drive my damn snow fort down the interstate at 80mph with a 6" hole cleared in the windshield.

Come thin the herd. Or, better yet, just keep dragging your nose on the ceiling when you meet someone who may have been born and raised outside of YOUR state.

Reminds me of a trip home to Hawaii during the Clinton presidency. We were closing in on Honolulu when the pilot announced we were going into a 45 minute holding pattern as the President was going from Hickam AFB to Waikiki to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the end of WWII.
Okay, no problems, I understand safeguarding the President although a 45 minute window seems excessive. Come to find out from my parents (who had been stuck at Hickam when the base was closed during the helicopter flight), it wasn't the PRESIDENT being moved during that flight closure, it was his LIMO! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Over!
In contrast, someone in DC told me how Reagan marveled at how clear the Beltway was of traffic when he was flying to the Pentagon for his first regular briefing. The Secret Service told him they'd stopped all traffic and cleared the roads for the flight; he said that was the last time they were doing it -- in the future, the Pentagon came to the WH to brief him to avoid that inconvenience to the public.

Got out (and back in) before the airspace lock this morning.
