Picked up an 870 tac off here a couple months back and totally spaced to see if the receiver was tapped for a rail till I got home. No dice, totally smooth to my surprise.

Haven't had any smith work done since I moved to CO 3 years ago so I'm looking for the right guy nearby for the job. In Greeley, prefer to not have to take it far.

Any advice?

Hit up bptactical. He's 45-60 minutes from Greeley. Good dude.

REPLIED. Thanks for the quick response. Would prefer closer than an hour away for the sake of convenience and future work together, but I'm open minded. [M2]

Definitely looks like I'll be making at least 1 trip to see Robert. Thanks for the rec. Seems like a great guy and even better smith judging by all the feedback I'm finding.

Yup he does good work. Only gunsmith I will recommend. It's worth the round trip drive.

Ditto. Bert is the only gunsmith I recommend to anybody. Highly recommended.
