That is a branch president I would like to work for. There is one who works for our company who keeps an 870 up against the wall in his office.

All the ones I've worked for think "guns have no place in banks."

Never realized that, but now that you mention it I can see how it looks like a bullet. Good eye!

For some reason I was expecting a robbery in the style of Heat or The Town...

I'm going to disagree with the masses here. Using a gun in a totally non life threatening position (at least at the point it was used) to protect money that is insured? Seems like a divergence from standard CCW theory. Seems like a good boss but I question the gun in that situation.

Have to assume the robber was armed, based on his hand being inside his jacket in the video. i do question the wisdom of pursuing him outside with any intent other than getting his license plate number, though. Glad it worked out for the better...

Just because something is insured, is no excuse to not protect it.

Why risk something more valuable (your life) to protect something less valuable (money) ?

I posted that before I watched the video, but I still stand by my statement. The reason that guy robbed the bank in the first place is because he knows full well that banks and most retailers have policies in force to just hand over money and brook no argument. Did you see how casually he walked out? He wasn't even in a hurry. When you constantly roll over and let people take advantage of you like that, you're just asking for it to happen more frequently.
