Any one out there know how to plug a 20 round mag down to a 5 rounder? Looking to get my LAR 8 ready for hunting. Don't want to pay 55 dollars for a mag. Also hear the dsa 5 round mag does not work well in the Lar 8 because of the magwell. Thanks
You can allways do the poor mans trick and just fit in a block of wood.
Put in 5 rds and measure for the block.

That is a good way or I can also weld in a tab that permanently blocks it to five

This^^^^ Most just use an oval piece to fit in the Fal mags or just cut and tweak. Been a few years since I made one but it is not hard with steel ones. Hiduminium is another story. [Coffee]
I've got one with a chunk of 1x2 in it to block down, fits nicely inside the spring. painted that one orange
