View Full Version : don't forget to fall back tonight
not sure if this is a repost, but don't forget to set your clocks back so you can get an extra hour of sleep tonight!!
This is perfect timing, as I have to be at work an hour early all next week. I think I'll keep my clocks the same for a bit.

Man, I wish we would just adjust our clocks every few months so it got dark around 9:00PM all year long. I'd get so much more (fishing) done.
Jeez, and I just got use to the 2 hr differance from New York!!! [Coffee]
Yep gonna be dark even earlier now

Ya know, the more I think about this the more I like it. The Super Geniuses that can calculate these things should come with a monthly or quarterly schedule for adjusting our clocks to the sun so I have more time to fish.

Super genius... heck, i can do this math!
60min into 6mo is 10min/mo. So the first friday of every month (November to April), we set the clocks back by 10min. This way, our weekends are slightly longer, starting with friday night!
Then, starting in May, the first monday of every month we set the clocks forward by 10min. And this would make the monday after payday go by faster, because we're all stuck at work wanting to go home to spend our paychecks!
Now, who's with me?! [Coffee]

So who actually goes around first thing on the clock hunt to reset things even before coffee? I at least get my coffee first (even though it had turned the coffee maker off already) and then find the clocks that don't autoset.

I set all my clocks to Zulu time so I don't have to fart around with Daylight Wastage Time. ;-)
