I just heard a resident of Staten Island say they worry about two things when the sun goes down: the cold and the looters. We should encourage President Obama to have the ATF relax firearm transfer laws for the interim so we can all donate a home defense firearm as well as a warm coat and some food to those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Maybe we could even get "Iron Mike" Bloomberg to help too by buying all those pistols in Virginia that he thinks would go to criminals and help distribute them to citizens protecting their homes. [LOL]

Must one hell of liquid breakfast!
Awesome, like Rush Limbaugh said they grant waivers of rules (which means laws normally enforced) because they know the government interferes with our lives and impedes in this case getting back to normal.
Excellent point waivers always for issues like gas taxes etc, but not things to let you help your self, especially defend yourself.

Just write "hi point" on a bunch of bricks and send them out there.
It will have basically the same effect.
Almost 20 years since I worked in NYC, but back then, SI was known for being the borough where many NYPD and NYFD personnel lived.
No matter how illegal firearms may be in NYC, anyone who really needs one can get one.
I can't imagine why we would need to send aid to NYC, Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel just performed them back to recovery. All taken care of [Flower]
Move along citizens, nothing to see here.
Move along subjects, nothing to see here.
