Wow, guess those people would be really pissed to see me throw my stringer- yeah stringer, the rope through the lip treatment- of lie fish in the back of the truck, as I have done my entire effin life, just like Dad did, and his Dad. Everyone knows you keep the damned fish alive as long as possible for the best flavor.
Some peoples kids I swear...

The Libs have lost it, death threats over an octopus? Do they think hamburgers come from cows that died of old age? [Bang]

It's not like he's eating dolphins like the Japanese! [Muaha]
My dad was born and raised in Seattle, as all my dad's side of the family comes from there.
My dad has told me plenty of stories of living out of Seattle as he grew up. Working boats trolling for fresh fish and gathering oysters bringing them all home, fresh eats, mmmmmm!
He would roll over in his grave if he heard about these "sensitive" hippies living in Seattle now. Death threats over an octopus that was going to be food? Give me a break................ people care more for wildlife now than they do for other human beings.

omg he caught a live octopus,
the fish was still alive when he caught it,
the lobster was alive when it went into the pot,
that cow was alive before you killed it

Once again, nothing good comes from photographing videoing every aspect of your life - especially if you post it online.

If anything people should commend him. I would be extremely scared to wrestle an octopus in the ocean. That's their habitat.

The same upset people eat raw oysters at fancy bars in Seattle. Guess they don't know those oysters are literally alive when they go in their mouth.
PS - I love raw oysters.

Those things are strong and the one he caught was huge, kudos for catching that thing by hand, that kid has a huge pair to mess with one of those things. It's pretty funny there are probably 15 sushi restaurants 10 minutes from where this happened where you can eat all the octopus you want and they are making this big a deal out of this.[Bang]
