It is NOT, I repeat NOT a "Breaking news" story when Romney is speaking at a campaign event 2 days before the election.

You guys play the damn "OMG BREAKING NEWS" sound and graphic so damn much I now ignore it. Keep crying wolf though, I'm sure it helps ratings.

I'm also certain that other things are happening in the world now besides an election and a hurricane passing a week ago. That goes for ALL news networks.

I agree, I used to work second shift, I couldnt stand daytime t.v.. so I would watch fox, Every 15 minutes there would be "breaking news" no matter what was going on. There is no news network anymore. You have to watch several news sources and try filter out the Bullshit.

Along the lines of Drudge, Complete Colorado does the same thing for local news:

I cant even watch FOX news anymore, their newscasters are complete douche bags. They have a skill for picking the biggest dip shits out there.

Au contraire. Fox has yet to hire Katie Couric, Andrea Mitchell, Candy Crowley, Matt Lauer, Ann Curry, Chris Matthews, Anderson Cooper, Bill Schneider, Soledad O'Brien, Keith Olbermann, Ed Schulz or Rachel Maddow. Fox doesn't even come close to having the biggest dip shits out there.

Honestly I think Al Jazeera English is one of the best sources for international news. As long as you understand the bias present on some issues (and it's definitely there). They cover more world events than just about anyone else on TV.

Yeah that's a good one... wait, aren't they the ones who support Hezbollah and Hamas? [Bang]

The Spanish channel news usually shows stuff you don't see elsewhere as well.

Fox News is a big part of saving this countrys ass. I know they lean right but they are at least honest. If it was up to the main stream media, we could have all kissed this country goodbye a long fucking time ago.

What happened to all of the smart people? DAMN!

Some of it is honest news. Some is right wing propaganda. Being able to look at it honestly and identify it just as easily as the left wing propaganda on CNBC is the trick. This wasn't really about that though, this is about the fact that a republican politician speaking at one of his rallies 2 days before the election is hardly breaking news, and they didn't call it breaking news or even bother to announce it when BO spoke at his rally...There's a pretty clear bias and needless crying of wolf with their "breaking news" every 10 minutes that isn't really news at all.[Beer]

[Roll1] Like I said, bias. You know Ronin, for someone who spent time in the intelligence field you seem to have a really hard time looking at information objectively.

Seriously, go to Al Jazeera English and look at the stories on the front page, then go to any US news source you want and tell me which one has more actuall international news.

BBC News- very trusted international news source. Sky News, also trusted. I look at things objectively, but AJ is a heavy handed supporter of PLO, Hezbollah, Hamas, and in the past has voiced their support of the Taliban.

It doesn't matter who they support if they are reporting the news.
