both lol.
I think the turnout for O will be a far cry from what it was in '08. Far fewer young people and independents will vote for him this time. Even if those same folks don't vote for Romney, ie. they don't vote at all, or they vote for a 3rd party candidate, I think Romney will win.

This could be, but either way, I think Romney will come out victorious.
Did you all read the articles about the scads of lawyers that BOTH sides have hired for challenges? If Romney wins, there will be legal challenges guaranteed. Obama can't stand justice, only his way.

I hear most of the polls are based on the 2008 turnout model - which favored dems by +7 or +8 %. I just don't see the energy this time with the dems - all with Repubs and Independents. Just the same, I can't imagine Beeho being re-elected with unemployment, the deficit, and the economy/growth where they are, plus pissing off veterans, stay-at-home moms, business owners/entrepreneurs, catholics, jews, the affluent, preppers, evangelical christians, gun owners, and those who work in the coal, oil, and gas industries.
I think a Romney landslide is very possible, given the above and how fired up republicans are this time.

Neither will win tomorrow. We wont know until Wednesday or later.
I think Romney will win unless the machine figured out how to steal the vote in a few battleground states.
With that said, it is shocking to me that there is even a contest. Romney SHOULD win by 25% minimum if people are voting for America. Do I trust Romney, do I think he will be great, do I agree with all of his platform? NO, NO and NO. But, I guess it is the GOPs turn to vote against someone like the Dems did in '08.

I'm praying for Romney. I fear it's going to be Obama. Drive through northeast Denver and MONTBELLO... If you are sure, and have money to bet here ya go...
http://www.forbes.com/sites/danbigman/2012/11/05/on-eve-of-the-election-gamblers-betting-on-an-obama-victory/
With one day to go before the election, we’re becoming super- saturated with poll data predicting a squeaker in the race for president. Meanwhile, bookmakers and gamblers are increasingly certain Obama will hang on to the White House.
With more than $13 million wagered on who will win the race for president, UK bookmaker William hill has listed odds of 1-5 for Obama and 7-2 for Romney. Ladbrokes, the other big UK bookmakers has the same line. Vegas bookmakers are prohibited by law from taking wagers on political races.
Over at Intrade, where you can buy or sell real-money contracts predicting the outcome of the race, volume is spiking, with more than 150,000 contracts in the last day or so, making this bet—at least in theory–a very useful prediction tool. Intrade bettors are giving Obama a 67% chance of winning reelection and retaining the White House, with Romney having a 33% chance of winning. (Jeff Sommer at New York Times had a smart story on Intrade’s predictive abilities over the weekend.)
In 12 key battleground states, Intrade bettors have Obama as the walkaway favorite in 8 of them. Right now, Intrade calls Colorado a tossup, and Virginia is Obama’s by 55%-45%. Romney is predicted as a having a lock on Florida, with a 74% chance of winning there and North Carolina with an 80% chance.
In every other state Obama is far ahead according to Intrade, expected to take Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, Wisconsin and Minnestota. In Ohio, seen as a must-win for either candidate, Obama is seen to have a 70% chance of taking the state.
But take the battleground numbers with a huge chunk of salt. There’s hardly any volume at all on any of those contracts, making them specious predictors at best.
Man you guys are optimistic!
Or realistic...I was born in 1967. I have only lived under one president that I would consider to be good. If you just go read the acceptance speeches and from the last 10 presidents, it becomes pretty obvious that we are headed into the crapper!

The conscience voters aren't left out.. we know that most(sheeple) people won't vote their heart and hold their noses voting for one of the 2 major parties. There will only be a a major party winner.
Personally I believe that Rom will win the popular vote and O will win the electoral college.
This way the "people" will see that it is fair as it happened before when Bush won the college and Gore won the popular vote. It will be the Dems turn again.
It could be a mixed blessing. 4 more years of O... and the country will finally vote true Conservative instead of mainstream middle of the road Republican.
The problem will be a major mess to fix after 4 more years of O.

sadly thats not true, its just a rumor
The one thing I wish would happen once its all said and done; is that both parties and the president actually WORK TOGETHER to make this country a better place. I think there has been way too much partisanship. I think congress has forgotten what the two party system is really about... Too much time fighting each other instead of trying to find a solution...

I disagree with this. I'm glad not a single republican in the house or senate voted for O-care.
"Doing something" just for the sake of "doing something" isn't necessarily good and I can't think of a single democrat agenda item that I support right now.
I don't have a problem with various branches of our government working together to accomplish positive goals for our country. But the last 4 years of the Obama administration have been a total disaster and the less republicans work with him on his agenda items, the better.

I think world peace might be a more attainable goal.

I honestly believe after 4 more years of O there won't be a country left... [Bang] Either that or we'll be so far deep in the hole that not even the greatest President to ever live could save us.

While I sure as heck don't want another 4 years of O, I don't come close to believing "there won't be a country left...". I do however believe that there will be significant "change" even more so than what we've just been dealt the last 4 years.
I think the US dollar will be significantly less valuable; The US social structure will be even more divided and cross-class violence will rise; The economy will be even weaker, commodity prices higher, social issues such as abortion, gay-rights, and marijuana will be more definitively in place (acceptable) forever; That attacks on gun-rights will increase exponentially, a whole hell of a lot more so than the last decade; That the US government will expand further, and religious persecution of Christians will increase world-wide... none of this is worth looking forward to.

Let me rephrase that- the country as we know it now (or before all this) will be no more, and something else, something... "fundamentally different" will be in it's place... [Bang]
Like has been said before- the Dems have been chipping away at the second amendment for a long time, with SCOTUS seats at stake O will certainly make it so the NRA doesn't sleep much if he's re-elected. And I totally agree with the persecution of Christians, look at how rampant it is these days right here in our country.

Well, here's my prediction
Obama is re-elected (and wins CO)
The House remains in Rep hands
The Senate remains in Dem hands
Amendment 64 passes
Amendment 65 fails
Didn't say I would like my predictions, but this is what I foresee happening.
Obama is re-elected (and wins CO)
I hope you are wrong... so very very very wrong. Especially about the CO part- I hate that we're a "blue" state. MT is looking very inviting... [AR15]

Amendment 64 passes
Amendment 65 fails

My predictions:
Romney is elected with 5%+ advantage in popular vote and a much smaller margin of electoral votes, but wins nonetheless.
Obama does win CO though. Romney wins FL and Ohio.
House remains Reps+
Senate remains Dems+
Amendment 64 passes
Amendment 65 Fails
Amendment S passes
POS Polis is reelected...
the stock market goes up through year end, only to come back down with fury in Q1 2013.
If Obama loses the election, I predict rioting, looting, and arson in at least a dozen major cities.
Right now it looks like the popular vote is 50/50, but Obama will probably win the electoral vote since he is guaranteed NY and CA.

I wish the voting looked like the parking lot at the fire station. Out of 30 cars I counted 6 Romney stickers, 2 defeat Obama stickers and one Obysmal sticker. No Obama stickers but there was a Prius in the lot.[Flower]
Now those up north that have been down here notice that this city is very much a Republican place.

I have to admit I really missed this call, and badly. I'm in shock at how far off it ended up. The Republicans totally misread the tea leaves here (again). Not sure what this means for the Republican party, the constitution, and the 2nd amendment, but can't be good. Dark times ahead.

Agreed, my friend. I fret we're in for severe "change" now... the second term is always more exaggerated than the first. He has no reason to hold back without aspirations of reelection again.
