It's obvious to me, how about you?

Except for CO and NM, middle america is conservative, no, let's change that...middle america is self directed, responsible and and seeks to act with integrity. The east and west coasts are government directed and the inhabitants act in their own interests as given to them by the media.

So, how long before someone major floats the boat (which will get pumelled and sunk) of three countries? West America, Middle America and East America. After 4 more years of aggressive damage to the fabric of America, where will we end up? I say torn in pieces...

Some Russian/Soviet egghead predicted this and wrote an article about exactly that, but then the Soviet Union did the exact thing that he predicted for us. Frankly yeah, I can see it happening. I'm surprised Texas is still here frankly.

The cannot secede, yet. They have no where to park 25K vehicles that will be driving in convoy from CO.
Once they take OK we can park n ride the rest of the way.
If i could take the damp cold AND taxes of NE, we'd be gone.

Have you seen West Texas? Flat and few trees, stretches on for miles and miles. Sounds like a parking lot to me.

I am only talking about a political process, so please keep the armed conflict talk out of this thread.

The legal framework of our constitution clearly allows for a peaceful re-orgnization of the political governance.

AK and MT are pretty viable alternatives too... except a lot of AK is dry zones by law... If the trend continues I'm moving to a nice spot between Bozeman and Butte. [Beer]

Texas has a few petitions to secede at the moment. Just google it and you'll find them. I imagine it will pick up some after this election. Oklahoma, and Utah were all red states. If texas were to split, Oklahoma would almost certainly follow them. They are like twins bound to stick together, even if OU says otherwise.

If I recall correctly, most of southern Colorado up to the Arkansas river was part of the Texas territory. If they secede and take their territory back, I don't even have to move. The original boundaries are far reaching.

Never work. Costal boundaries are vital for the success of a country. Segregating middle america from both coasts would inevitably result in a war with one or both costal countries and an envelopment in some fashion.

You make a valid point, but I thought we were talking about Texas and OK, along with ND, SD, ID, WY and MT?

If we booted the kommies from this state, brought the mormons with us, invade and boot the NAs from new mexico, and brought AZ with us, and then the middle of the country along with texas, we would be sitting pretty good. Little hope of nevada, though the Sierras make a nice defensive wall, as well as the northern rockies. Texas needs food, and will want the breadbasket to come with it. I would venture to guess half the military would refuse to assist stopping secession, the rest would come join us,lol.
