Just moved hear a few months ago. Hope to get to know you guys.

Also do you guys know a good M14 smith in Fort Collins area? I need to get mine headspaced and took it to Active Arms and the smith there doesn't like working on Polytechs.

Welcome to the forum.
Where did you move from?

Sorry, can't help you with a smith.
Don't know Ft Collins that well.

What a pissant! Sorry to hear that.

I have zero experience with smiths in town so I don't know what to say.
You could try giving Jensen's a call and see if they have a reccomendation.

Welcome to CO and FC!

I talked to Jensens and the recommended him. When I went there I told him that I would have the bolt stripped for him and all he would have to do is slip in a No go gauge and he said it would cost around $25!!!

he then went on to say that my rifle was junk and that it wasn't a M14, that it was a M1A and the chinese make junk and that it wasn't a opinion it was a FACT!

I guess he is just a "Fudd"

Why not just buy the no go gauge yourself and do it for free? Just a thought.

Just thought I could get it done for like 5 bucks or something. If I remember correctly my 30-06 gauges were about $50.

Just trying to save some money in the short time with moving and all.
