I plan to be there. Pete, will you have a booth? If so I'll look you up. I need some .223 mags for an AK.

Yes, two tables. As you are standing at the main entrance I am on your left towards the front. I have a "Shadow River" banner hanging from the front of the table, green letters on white back ground.

How many mags and prefer plastic or metal?

Thanks, I'll definitely look you up. I was thinking 2 to 6 mags depending on price.

I only have 2, so I need some more.

Plastic or metal, not sure. I was hoping for genuine commie metal, but I don't mind looking at stuff or hearing different opinions. I had the rifle at specialty sports, and he had plastic mags but they kind of "hung up" we could see where it was rubbing, but I thought I'd hold off before I spent $32 per mag and had to file them down...

You can always come up to the 3-Gun match in Lake George on Saturday ( 24th) and put those guns to use, and then go buy some more stuff on Sunday. Just a thought.

I'll be looking for you too. I'd like to find a couple of metal ones, also in .223.

Surplus bulgy steels are $40.

So what happened Pete? I stopped by a couple of times in a 2 hour period and all your stuff was covered up.

Good point.

I did find some 50 BMG Ball bullets for a decent price. When I asked Mr B&D *how* they were pulled he got an attitude and said I did not have to buy them if I didnt want to. His loss. I was looking for 500-1000 bullets and I had cash in my pocket. He lost a customer for life.

Yep, that was my take as well.

Buddy of mine bought an M44 on "black Friday" and wanted to check the show for cheap ammo.

No joy.

Friday was a bad day for me [barf] All of us are really sick.

But I was there until almost 4 on Saturday and all day today.

Regarding the comment "Lots of Junk" :(

I had 4 firearms that were trade ins, but every thing else was brand new. Tons of AR parts (YHM, MI, LMT, Magpul, Vltor, and CAA) and lowers and uppers (DS and CMMG). I sold a ton of stuff.

Pete, sorry. Was not directed at you. Just the lack of quality stuff in general. I should have said I didnt see anything used that really said "take me home" or "I am a smoking deal, you need me."

Did you have a duracoated bolt gun on your table? I should have said hello. You were about the only guy there with new stuff at decent prices. Most everyone else was on crack.

I did not take it personal, I just want to let people know that at least there was something worth while to look at :D

Yes that was a customers gun I am working on.

I do agree with you guys, and folks on other forums regarding gun shows in general.
The internet has changed many things in this country and that includes the shows. I think that all too many vendors just don't realize this and are continuing to run "as normal". I am mainly an online vendor so I have spent a lot of time shopping other web sites and try and have my prices inline with those. Selling an AR lower for 150 when someone online sells the same thing for 100 is crazy. Since I am a dealer folks don't need to worry about transfers, or shipping and sales tax is about 8$ so at 110 a pop I sell a bunch of them. But if the other vendors don't change their tactics, folks are going to continue to not show up. :(
