I am asking this question here instead of down in the gun show section because it'll be seen by many more HERE in the General Discussion.
Trying to determine if I can justify an attempt to get a table for the 300 mile round trip to the Prospectors Sertoma gun show in Springs on the Thanksgiving weekend. I had been told a few years ago that this is a much better/larger than usual show because it is a three (3) day gun show - November 22,23 & 24th. Can anyone truthfully say that they feel that this three day show is usually MUCH better than the regular two day shows that the Sertoma folks have on normal weekends?
I have been attempting to make contact with them via their web site but no one responds. Difficult for me to understand why they would have and furnish a computer address email site if no one has the minute or two to read messages and respond.[Bang]

My two cents worth is there is no difference in attendance from a three day show to a two day show. However, if people are concerned about the recent election results, that may drive up the numbers (no pun intended).

Thanks TennVol. Hope to get a few more of the Springs guys to respond. [Beer]

This is purely anecdotal, but I think I went to that show last year at that time and it was a little bit busier. Hopefully, someone from Sertoma can get back to you and tell you the door receipts were X% higher than normal. I honestly don't remember for sure because I go to Sertoma four or five times a year because they're close to my house and there's no charge to get in for military.

I do expect it will be busier because of the election. I'm tempted to go to the Tanner show at Freedom Financial Center this weekend, just to smell the paranoia. :)

The thanksgiving day show is always pretty big. The last table I had was at one 4 years ago and I did very well. Ammo, primers, components and mags sell very well.

I think it is an RK show this weekend.

Never been to the Thanksgiving show though, sorry.

Guess not many know about this three day SERTOMA gun show.

Thanks - I didn't recall seeing who was running it, just guessed.
