Has anyone gone threw Broomfield to get their CWP?
Are they getting approved?

Colorado is "shall issue" for CCW. (If you meet the requirements)

Most of the Sheriff's seem to focus on the DD214 Discharge Document or an Active Duty ID card. If you got either then I think you are good to go, but CRS is really subjective to interpretation by each Sheriff. You should ask yours and see what they say.
