View Full Version : Thanksgiving Dinner
It's a little early, but wanted to throw this one out there for any of the forum members. I know times are tough and wanted to offer anybody a Thanksgiving dinner if they need/want it Turkey, Ham, all the fixings and spirits. I will deliver as well or we can find a meet spot.
Send me a PM. I will keep all info private and confidential, if you want you can also send me an email to trathburn2010@gmail.com.
I will be bumping this one until Thanksgiving.

Very nice gesture.
Not trying to sidetrack the thread but Nederland has an open free potluck, the Sunday before Thanksgiving, at the Community Center. Noon til... Hands down some of the best food you will ever find at a potluck. Green chili too.
Glad I'm a member of this forum with good people like this.

Getting close to turkey day
If you don't get any takers on your offer but want to help some less fortunate people out I have an idea for something I have been meaning to do for a while.
I seem to have a surplus of jackets and coats that have barely been worn. Rather than give them to Goodwill, I have always wanted to go downtown and pick a couple of homeless people at random and give them one. Even mild winters here can be brutal if you spend all of your time outdoors. I imagine someone would be thankful to receive a new coat about this time of year.
That's an excellent idea! Maybe time for a new sticky for people who want to help out with this during the holidays?
I've always thought that with such an awesome group of people here that there could be some sort of positive thing we could do for the local communities on behalf of the forum. You know, kind of show the world that gun owners are normal, caring people who function just fine in society.
Maybe a toy drive of some sort for the kids at Children's Hospital or something.
Looks like we have both north and south Colorado covered!
Ray- set you PM about the coat stuff!
That's mightly nice of you!
Bump. Turkey day is coming up.
