If you're a Battlestar Galactica fan as I am, this will be exciting news.....

Syfy is coming out with a brand new series on the BSG franchise. It's called Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome.

While the series isn't do to start until Feb, 2013, they've released the first 2 (pseudo) episodes online and it looks great.

I just watched the two episodes that are available on YouTube and also the series trailer.
I think this looks to be a good show!
I know I enjoyed it.

it sounds like you're referring to Caprica. Nope, this is more like the regular BSG, but it starts with young ensign Bill Adama (who we know LATER becomes Commander Adama).

Only one problem:

SyFy only contracted for a bunch of webisodes and a 90-minute pilot, which I think is just the webisodes all strung together. We're not getting an actual series.

After all, BSG doesn't deserve nearly as much support as Ghost Train or Sharktopus.

Yup. It's really a movie that they broke up into webisodes. They'll appear all together on SyFy, as a movie, in 2013. Fine by me! Some new BSG beats no new BSG!

Just watched the finale myself... definitely interesting, and I like that it was more action than soap opera.

I hope this series gets picked up by the network for the next season.
I know i enjoyed the YouTube episodes!
I know a lot of Soldiers were really huge fans of BSG.
