Filled a complaint with the school, they're taking their sweet time and as far as we are concerned the school is going to do what's in the best interest of the school. After 2 weeks things have really settled in and my wife is in bad shape, she was already getting therapy and this incident has made things even worse.

Unless you have other students that were there and willing to come forward as witness's GFL. Been there done that, amazing how quick 20 people in the same room manage to 'forget" or "didn't see anything" when pressed on the issue.
CSU has cameras all over campus I'm pretty sure. If it was UNC then you had better find a good attorney... I don't know of any that specialize in cases like this in that area. It might not be a bad idea to branch into Denver for a good criminal defense lawyer.
