Here it is, started as a standard black synthetic stock with stainless steel barrel.
I added:

1.Stainless steel stock takedown screw, three vibration dampening rings, 1/8" hex wrench,
bolt buffer, two stainless steel oversized trigger group pins and three bonus 22LR dummy rounds.

I have not had a chance to shoot it yet, but I can't wait.

Lets take it out and shoot with it.

I have a 10/22, and the only things I've bought for it, besides more magazines, is a KIDD trigger, mag release and bolt hold open. For this rifle, I could be a total KIDD fanboy.

Keep your eye out for dates on the .22lr steel dog match at WHAC east of Brighton.

Get there around 8A and zero it before the match. Many people get there early to reverify their zero or just get a little practice in at 200 yards. The ammunition you shoot is every bit as important as the rifle. The nice thing about a .22lr is most of the ammunition costs pennies rather than quarters or even dollars.

Ok. I'm curious. Why didn't you replace the barrel like everyone else who mods their 10/22?

^Cost, and I have not had many rounds thru the orignal one.

I did not know I could get there early, I just may do that. What ammo do you use?

Federal bulk packs. I normally shoot a Marlin 795 over open sights, so there is no point in me spending more. I lob them out there and hope the target gets in the way [ROFL2]

Well I put about 200 rounds thru it this past weekend and I am very happy with the rifle!

Hi
Did you check the head space when you polished the bolt face?

Anny ideas on the best magazines for higher capacity.

Ruger now markets the BX25 magazines, which holds 25 rounds rather than the standard 10 rounds.

I have not used them. I am fairly content with the 10 rounders.

Some folks have had problems with them if they are not loaded carefully. They replaced one of mine for free after I shot the spring across the garage. The new one runs perfectly.

How do you like that Axiom stock? I've been looking for an adjustable stock that I could still use Tech-Sights with and I'm not a Tapco fan.

It nice, I like it. I got it so I can adjust it for the kids.

Some of those feed issues were caused by factory over-tightened screws. Back them out, snug them back up, and you should be good to go.
