Who drinks at old cs? I am on my fourth beer tour... Just seeing if anyone ever want to shoot the shit over a beer.
You can find me at the Littleton, Arvada or 104th and grant store

I often partake of some adult beverages at the 120th and Colorado Blvd. location. [Awesom]
I've talked with friends a while back about doing the beer tour, but we never go around to it. Problem 1- I live in Evergreen now, and the nearest one is at 6th and Simms. I'd love to do the beer tour, I heard there are a lot of beers on there well worth giving a shot that otherwise would remain unknown. I consider myself an amateur beer connoisseur. [Beer]
I won't do the beer tour. I did the math once. It kind of surprised me just how much you had to invest to complete the tour.

What did you come up with Ray? I started one and then realized that I'd rather just find new stuff to try at my local liquor store than pay the inflated prices at Old C's.

I do the mini-tours to get the Tshirts. Every ~6 weeks they do an 8-beer mini tour, limited to 4 beers/visit =P, and if you do all 8 within ~2 weeks you get a T-shirt

One time I was at the one in sliverthorne and they were dead and me and my brother asked if they would serve us every beer on tap in 2 glasses and they did and it was fawking good honestly one of the best beers ive ever had, there were somewhere around 30 types of beer in one glass and the best part they gave them to us for free and said they were gona name it after us. It's not to bad as far as money goes probly about $600 per tour and you get a bunch of shirts and they give you foamer bucks

One time I was at the one in sliverthorne and they were dead and me and my brother asked if they would serve us every beer on tap in 2 glasses and they did and it was fawking good honestly one of the best beers ive ever had, there were somewhere around 30 types of beer in one glass and the best part they gave them to us for free and said they were gona name it after us. Wait... Let me get this straight- you got a beer-suicide? For those that don't know, when I was younger, a suicide was when you were at a restaurant (like Taco Bell, McD's, etc) that had a self-serve fountain you filled your cup with a little of every soda from the fountain.

I'm a long-time world beer tourist. Got my VIP membership and stein back in 2003. I mostly just do the minitours now, so I'm only at 35 tours completed (officially).

2 beer tours under my belt but I never go there anymore after moving. Although on occasion we are over at the silver bullet but mostly drink at copper rail in Brighton, my house or my buddy's shop

The first beer tour cost roughly $550. Each tour after cost $475. Now old cs has a great happy hour from 3-6 and beers are 1$ off drafts. So you can possibly complete a beer tour for around 400$. Currently you can win food if you play a football contest called beat the leader each week.
Once you've hit your VIP status (10th tour), you can drink any beers you want, and they all count the same. Prior to that 10th, you were supposed to drink 110 different beer (numbers) per tour, so couldn't avoid the expensive imports.
Anyhoo, back in the day, you also got your beer for happy hour price all the time, which was $2.00, later $2.49 a pint, so once you'd hit your 10th tour, you could drink your favorite domestic swill pretty cheaply, to the tune of $220 per tour before 2005, and you also got kickbacks in the form of "foamer bucks", in the amount of about $50 per tour, so the total cost of each tour beyond your 10th was closer to $170, and the beer was cheaper there than almost any other place in town.
Since then, cutbacks and changes to the tour system have doubled or tripled the per-tour cost, and diluted the benefits VIP status brings you - which is why I pretty much only do the mini tours now, and drink elsewhere (like with buddies at home) instead of buying $5 pints at OC.

I've had too many bad experiences at OC. One time I was there for hockey playoffs, OC was the only bar in COS playing canadian games and I'm a big Canadiens fan. I had my jersey and hat on, ordered a beer at the bar and then moved to a table for a better view of the TV. I ordered a calzone and it wasn't until I realized the game was over and I never got my food. Never saw my waitress. I got a gift card card after complaining about it, where I spent the next playoff game at another OC location in downtown COS which was the total opposite experience. Stayed at the bar, got my food and the bar tender was friendly and engaging. Another time at the FOCO location on Timberline I ordered a beer at the bar, they weren't terribly busy but more than 10 minutes later did my beer finally arrive and then another time my wife ordered a drink which was clearly mixed wrong and instead of fixing the mistake the bartender ended up coming over and started an argument with my wife. I don't know what it is with the bartenders in FOCO at OC but they're a bunch of douch bags.
Mayor of Old town is my go to bar in Fort Collins, 100 good beers on tap. OC needs more microbrews.

they must like me because I did my first your proper but since then they give me any beer and just ring it up as a 1300 series beer On this current tour I have 55 1300 beers and they all count the same for me
