I'm looking at getting into casting my own bullets due to the high cost of "ready made" plated bullets. ie. Rainier, Berrys, Xtreme etc., as I have a good supply of lead on hand.
Is there anyone casting/using the Lee Micro Band Bullets in 9mm, 40 S&W or 45 ACP?
How accurate are they compared to other cast, sized and "lubed" bullets?

Trying to keep the cost down by not buying re-sizing equip.

Also need some used casting equipment, so if anyone has something they are not using, send me an email with details.

I use the 200gr SWC in .45acp. Accuracy as good or better that other molds I have.Lee push through sizers to be used with their liquid alox lube are only a few $ and should be considered. The molds I have in .45 and .44 tend to drop bullets at .454 and .432 useing the old Lyman #2 alloy. You may or may not need to size, each weapon is an individual. My .45 likes .452 and the .44 likes .430, YMMV.

Thanks for the reply. As a newbie to casting any advice is appreciated.
Will now consider the Lee push through sizer.

I never was able to get the Lee tumble lube aluminum moulds to work well for me.

My friend likes them quite a little bit.

Thanks for the reply. Did you have the 4 or 6 cavity moulds?
If you still have them, I would like to give them a try. :-)
What moulds did you end up with that works for you?
