Greetings all. I'm looking to purchase a Lefty AR-15. The RRA Elite Operator Lef-T looks nice, also the Stags. Any opinions on who makes the best Lefty AR (complete rifle or components for a build) would be appreciated.

I can only speak for stag. I own one. Chews up and spits out whatever you feed it. 2000+ rounds no issues, but I do maintain my firearms.

I'm also a Stag fan. I've never had a problem with mine and even the barrel seems to be going strong after quite a few cases of ammo.

It's news to me that RRA is making one now, though. I'm planning on a mid-length upper purchase later this year and I'll be keeping that in mind if I decide to go lefty again.

I can't speak for Stag or RRA- but one that hasn't been mentioned- POF. I own a POF, it's not Lefty per-say, it's ambi, and it kicks ass. I've never had a problem with it in owning it over a year and half, my lefty friends have shot it and never complained, and I am in love with it. [Beer]

Im not a lefty but my wife, son, and father are all lefties. My wife and I are planning on having more kids and I think there will probably be more lefties to come. So, I figure that my family should have a lefty AR. I have been looking at different ones and I think I have decided on a Stag. There prices are reasonable and the reputation is outstanding.

Then if if you have the time and the dime think about AXTS. I just did a review: http://www.ar-15.co/threads/71611-AXTS-Weapon-System-AX556-Lower

I am a leftie and don't see the need for a left sided AR. With the newer uppers with the ejection "hump", you don't have to worry about hot brass anymore. I have the ability to see the ejection port and can visually scan it without moving the weapon from a firing grip for any ejecting, stovepiping or round seating issues.

I've never had a problem with a normal AR plinking at the range but I took up 3-gun early in my shooting development. When you're shooting fast and in odd positions it can make all the difference. It's not even so much a brass but a gas and heat issue.
