Here's the transcript. It does ramble a bit but is overall great. http://www.campaignforliberty.org/national-blog/transcript-of-farewell-address/

Maybe the questions parts can be posted here.

This is as he's just getting started:

"A grand, but never mentioned, bipartisan agreement allows for the well-kept secret that keeps the spending going. One side doesn’t give up one penny on military spending, the other side doesn’t give up one penny on welfare spending, while both sides support the bailouts and subsidies for the banking and corporate elite. And the spending continues as the economy weakens and the downward spiral continues. As the government continues fiddling around, our liberties and our wealth burn in the flames of a foreign policy that makes us less safe."

I don't think we've seen the last of him.

I don't think we've seen the last of him.

I think we probably have unfortunately, but hopefully not the last of his ideas and what he stood for on a national scale. Given the political climate he stood up in I don't know that he could have ever gained the traction he needed to, but I think in some part he was heard and possibly planted a seed of something greater.

I think he probably won't run for office again, but he's grooming Rand to make a run...

If given the choice of Obama or Ron Paul I would have chosen Ron Paul. He is like the modern reincarnation of Barry Goldwater. Sadly there are not enough men like them in the modern conservative movement.
