Finally got the wife on board with some "minor" prepping. Since the most recent tragedies in the north east, she doesn't want to get stuck like them. So now I don't have to do it incognito! She goes to the store once a week and grabs a little of this and a little of that. She was somewhat impressed with my GHB.

She also agreed to read one second after, the book that started it for me. Wish me luck! [Tooth]

Congrats! My wife tolerates it and doesn't call me crazy too often anymore.

Haha, I might've heard that a time or two. Doesn't help that I talk to myself, and respond as well...

I purchased through iBooks and if turned me around. Few months later I see my wife buy it on her kindle. At first I was pissed she bought the same book again but once she finished it she was on board so it was worth another 9.95.

Ya, should be a good time there. I have a lot of friends having end of the world parties. As long as I'm close to home to defend my self against the zombie attack, I'm good!! [Coffee]

Congratulations. Didn't you start a thread about this a few months ago as well? Awesome that she agreed to read One Second After.

Thats great. I am also slowly gettin my wife on track. Being that we are from Back east (hurricanes and random power outages) she has a mind set almost kinda sorta like mine now

Patriots is a great book but the book Lights Out (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004GHNGKE/ref=kinw_myk_ro_title) was a better next step for my wife. It's a little easier to relate to a regular family and neighborhood then it is too a well trained group with a retreat.
