First, this site is made harder to read and navigate. Now, Colorado Gun Market has been destroyed. I think Dudley can do without my $35 bucks next year. It sucks bad. I think changes on both sites were a BIG step backwards.
That being said, I think this is still the best gun site on the web.

Disagree! The site is improved now. Don't be an old fuddy-duddy. Change is scary, but is gotta happen. Learn and embrace it. You probably are still using Windows XP right?
As for Dudley, he can bend down and kiss it.

I agree, I like the old site much better. I was pretty disappointed when I logged on one day and the forum had been switched to the new format.
Bryan, your still an old fuddy duddy though [Poke]

Do you still try and drive a Packard around on the streets even though you can't find parts for it anymore? Do you still shoot pin-primer ammo calibered firearms? No to both. They stop working due to lack of expendable materials. Same thing here. The old site software was no longer supported, updated, or capable of maintaining.
J literally spent more time than I even want to think about setting up the new site and software. If he wouldn't have, the Mayans would have been right. Well, at least for this site.

My two cents. The new site will grow on ya real quick. Just like everything else sometimes change is good and sometimes it can be a real pain. I like the new site very much and I do understand the issues we were having with the old legacy site.
Sorry us IT guys dont cry about upgrades. We get it done any move on. Talk shit all you want, the world moves forward and time marches on, etc, etc..
I take it you have no dealings with the medical side of IT. I am still finding fun things to do with my time as we replace XP with 7. Many companies are very slow to update programs and this makes living with Doctors interesting at best. I have one new guy that we just hired from HP that is very good and has been a tremendous help on the pure IT side. He has admitted that the many Obstacle's that I have faced over the 30 years doing medical/IT leave him shaking his head but such is the nature of the beast.
Do you still try and drive a Packard around on the streets even though you can't find parts for it anymore?
Sure ya can. [blaster] ya just got to know where to look. [Flower] (My fathers business)
I think the best thing would be to play with the new place as much as possible and in a very short time it will seem like the old comfy pair of shoes that was the old site (even though "J's" feet were getting wet every time he tried to walk in the old ones) So now he can take a stroll in dry shoes and be happy because that was the reality of the old place, worn out.
I hope I have not offended anyone with my comments. [handbags]
I still have Windows XP and the site runs just fine for me.
Now, back to the thread title, Colorado Gun Market was a good site, now I just see the same stuff posted as I do here.

This sight is a vast improvement over the old one. I can do stuff on here i couldnt do before, like post pictures from my phone. But will have to agree that colorado gun market took a big step backwards. That sight sucks now.

Actually I kinda like the new layout at Colorado Gun Market.
However as others have said, most of what is over there is here and/or Armslist ... and often the stuff that is only there is over priced.
I do like being able to narrow the search by city.
I should also note, most people who don't like the new look seem to prefer the simple blue theme I have made available for use. Try it out, you can change it at the bottom left corner of the screen.
I understand that with 5000+ members im never going to make everyone happy. I just try my best to cover most and what is left over have to deal with it.

I haven't been here for long, but I enjoy the new format[Beer] looks great guys seems easy enough to navigate and aesthetically it's an improvement.
Not sure his this got off topic, I thought he was talking about cologunmarkets new website?
I don't like it.
This website upgrade was fantastic. Took me a day to get used to it on my phone but it is much more user friendly.

The only thing I really don't like here is the fact that I have to scroll from side to side to read every thread. But like i said, I think it's the best gun site on the net.
I think Colorado Gun Market sucks the way it is now.

1) I like the upgraded site here. The added functions are nice to have - especially being able to use Tapatalk now from my phone.
2) I don't really like the cologunmarket site in its new format. I don't really see a whole lot of use for it as it seems that everything that is posted in the private party section there is posted as well on here or armslist, and the ones that aren't are by a few guys that I think are selling guns for profit without having an FFL. If the only reason someone sends money to RMGO is for use of the cologunmarket site, I would say stop. If you send money with the hope that the voice they provide in the gun rights battles helps in defending those rights and you believe that it makes a difference, keep sending money to them.
Tapatalk = problem solved

It works fine for me and no navigation problems. As for Dudley and RMGO, I will continue to pay my yearly dues and not just to access cologunmarket.com. His organization is very much needed here in Colorado. I can't afford to join all of the gun rights organizations that I used to so I have decided to join and volunteer my time with the local guys. It's not about personalities, it's about the continued fight to keep our rights and prevent the onset of slavery.

I have XP and don't have to scroll side to side. I think you can change the resolution settings in the user cp. I don't remember how I changed it.

I am still having problems with the new site from my phone, it is now basically a read only devise. So you lucky bastards don't have me as competition in the TP when I am at work.
Some of you people have seen my work truck, so you know that I am not an office weenie.

I really like the upgrade to the site. I access from my cell phone most of the time and previous it was a real pain, now I prefer it to home computer.

I don't know how you live on Android without a google account. I backup all my contacts to my gmail. Then when I get a new ROM or phone all my contacts just pop back up.

Can someone please furnish me with the proper/complete web address to gain access to the Colorado Gun Market. If that is not allowed here, how about sending that info in a PM. Thanks![blaster]

all you need to do is redo your address. instead of www.cologunmarket.com/mkt
the new address is
www.cologunmarket.com
then it will work for you.
