$45 gets you a pre cooked turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, rolls, cranberries, pie and a lot of time to do other stuff, priceless!

Hmm think I'll pass on that one. Convenience is only worth so much to me.

We did just the turkey breast instead of the whole bird.....still plenty of meat and leftovers for a few days! We will feed off this for a few days like hyena's on a carcass down by the watering hole.
UGH, my gut is packed.
Gonna be dragging azz tonight to the sales.......now to get more pie!

For our family a major part of the holiday and celebration is everyone having a hand in food prep. From early morning folks baking to mid day casserole/stuffing preperation to me and the grandsons frying the turkey as guests and friends arrive for dinner. Biggest celebration of the year for our family.

Sounds like a great time. I love Thanksgiving. I think, besides Independence Day, it's the greatest of American holidays. My favorite.

Almost time for best part. Family gathered in TV room for screening of my new DVD of the latest Celtic Women concert w/ pie and spiced coffee.

Had smoked ribeyes. Don't like turkey.
