I just bought a .300WM, and my research seems to favor the 180 and either RL22 or 4831. I like a light bullet and will be working on 168 gr AMAXs as soon as I can find some brass.
I shot 180's for years.
Now I am strickly 208 AMAX's. Much better at bucking the wind.

You really don't tell us what you are going to hunt with it. I'd pick a heavier(180+), tougher bullet for the elk. A medium weight bullet for the deer, say around 168 grain.
130s on whitetail for me. 180s on elk. I usually shoot 180s at Mule Deer too, but that is usually because I try to carry a mule deer and an elk tag at the same time.
190s for distance shooting and Yukon moose. Been wanting to try a 208 for distance shooting, but they are hard to find production, and I am just now starting to reload.
I would look at the 190's and up (208 amax as stated above is gtg) I would also look at running H1000, very stable powder with temp changes.

RE22 and a 180 grain Accubond makes for a great all-rounder load.
