Seen this on another site and all I can say is who ever did this should be skinned alive and thrown into a vat of salt.
Words can not even say what I would do to somebody that did this to my dog.

Oh man, that's sick to think someone would do that !!!!
No punishment I can think of would even be close to what they deserve [Mad][Mad]
Oh, I can think of a few, Suffice it to say, He'd be fortunate to get with Tim's.
Their suffering by my hand would be legendary, even in hell.

The sorry MF'r who did that needs a real life scene from the movie Hostel performed on his arse. And a beagle? Those dog's don't hurt a fly...
With a sick bastard like that, people are next unless he gets caught...

...I hope they get that sick PO*. [Mad] He needs to be put away for a damn loooooong time...
Put away?
Try put DOWN. Slowly and painfully.
I try to steer clear of absolutism when possible - not always easy - but animal cruelty isn't one of those issues where I can manage to do so. In my eyes a pet has some similarities with a disabled child... might not be able to or probably can't really communicate with you or anyone else, essentially can't defend themselves, depends on you 100% for basic survival needs, etc. Anyone who exploits that helplessness in an act of cruelty/sexual assault/violence/murder, in my semi-humble opinion, has given up their right to live in civilized society.
Permanently.
wow thats horrible.....
Couldnt the dog have been saved? I mean with some painkillers and stuff it should be ok right? Maybee a bit uglyer but allive.... I dunno why they put it down... I'm no dog expert so I dunno if i'm way off base and that skin couldnt regrow...
That much damage, No. And if an infection set in, Believe Me, that would have been miserable.
I added a bit of caution to the OP. I wouldn't want my kid to see those pictures.. she loves dogs more than I do.
I don't get it. I'm responsible enough to not have a dog because I don't have the time or space for one, and yet there are people who have them that don't deserve them and people who do things to them that just boggle my mind. [Rant2]
where's that biotch from peta now?
Hunter,
I feel your pain. I'm a Dog lover too and that is by far the worst thing I've ever seen. The people involved really should be torched and dragged through the streets. I've been hunting with dogs for years and we've had our share of mishaps. At the end of each day I spend hours sometimes doctoring the pups by picking out the stickers & sand burrs and whatever else they need. They always eat before we do and sleep on the bed wherever the want. While hunting I always carry a steel comb, leash, first-aid kit, wire cutters, hemostats and a knife for the pups and had to use them on many occasions. Hunting in the field is a dangerous place, and especially for the dogs. My dogs have had their faces full of porcupine quills, been hung-up on barbwire, caught in a death snare trap, fallen through thin ice, sprayed by skunks, and you name it we've done it. You got to be ready for the unexpected because it can and will happen. I've carried a few dogs out of the field before and cut our hunt short to take care of my best friend. I can't believe it sometimes how tough dogs are. They seem to bounce back so quickly and they just love to go hunting. Take care of your four legged buddy and you'll have a friend for life.

Actually SPCA or PETA put up some money as a reward for information on this. Don't think it's much, something like $2,500 or so but still.
Don't remember which one.

The only fitting punisment for this crime is for the person responsible being done the exact same way. Then dipped in honey and staked down to a fire ant hill.

+100000 same thing that went through my mind. I have watched several documentaries on serial killers and most of them start out this way.
He will prey on humans in the near future no question about that. Nobody that sick in the head is going to stop. I only hope he gets stopped before he does something like that again regardless of whether it's a human or an animal.

Yup. Chriminal pysche. The worst serial murders did the same: Bundy, Dahmer, Berkowitz...Those college courses learned me something!
Regardless if this person is or isn't the next Dahmer, he needs to be shown no mercy...

Ask me in person. I'll bet money you'll look at people coming into this country differently.

I agree with marlin. No decent dog owner would have tried to save that dog. I think we all know the pain of getting just a little bit skinned, by a knife, potato peeler, hammer type of thing. I can't imagine the pain that dog was feeling.
Oh my god!!! I have two female Beagles myself, and if anyone hurt either of them, death would be immediate for the s.o.b.

When I first started to read the story I was thinking that it was a hoax. Something like this is just way over the top. Then again remember here in
Denver a few years ago that guy stole puppies from a vet or kennel and set them on fire.
