Ok, it's just me and the wife unit for Christmas and well I'm not interested in cooking (again)

so, from arvada north to Loveland (basically up 287) NOT including Boulder ( I hate boulder)

where should we go for Christmas dinner? (on Christmas day)

TIA

Looks like not a whole lot will be open on Christmas. But I like Buca Di Beppo at flatirons which is italian.

not exactly in the line of sight you propose, but have you considered any of the casinos?

Safeway's meal to go. The wife and I have gotten their prime rib meal every year for the past 3. Ordered at least a week in advance and picked up the day or two before. Just pre heat the oven and warm it up.
And you don't even have to put your pants on to have a decent meal.....[LOL]

Asian or Jewish run places are usually open. Look for a good hibachi restaurant and ask if they'll be open.

Was my original idea. Most asian places will be open during regular business hours. Asians aren't lazy. They work.

I could think of 4-6 places, in Boulder. Too bad.

There is always McD's or Wendy's.

As someone mentioned the Asian restaurants are usually open. Its my wife's and my tradition to go to a Japanese Hibachi place Christmas Eve (I know you said Christmas Day)...

There is a new Pho restaurant behind the Taco Bell on 86th and Washington in Westminster. They are called Pho Basil and we think they are pretty good. They have pho and Thai food. Anyway, they were open on Thanksgiving (and pretty crowded) so they may be open on Christmas as well.

I will try that pho basil place before Christmas.

Unfortunately, despite loving Asian food, it doesn't fit our diet, so that's out (Italian too)

Huh I did not know about that Pho/Thai place. Thanks for the heads up. Speaking of food near there. Have you tried the Hawaiian BBQ place just north of there across the street from Hoe Mei's?
