What are you willing to pay and what do you want? Two very important questions... Do you want to pay less than $200? If so, good luck getting anything decent for that.

I wont spend more then $200, i dont watch the dang thing anyways i am just tired of hearing my wife complain about the 19" i put in the living room for now. You cant even read the guide from the couch it sits so far away.

I can't help ya then... $200 is a bit low for what I used to do.

capping at $200 is going to hurt you for anything decent unless you start hitting the flea market or yard sales

If the tv will be more than 3-4' from where you sit don't even think about anything under 32" MINIMUM! I suggest a 42" one. When you compare what you get along with refresh rate 42" as a starting point.

Are you looking for new or used? If I can pony up the funds, I have what I believe is a 32'' Sony. It is a bit older (mid 2000's) Sony flat screen, non flat panel that I would let go REALLY cheap (almost free). It works great and will come with an entertainment center if my new tv doesn't fit. PM if you are interested.
