I have a couple IWB holsters that work pretty well, but after awhile they shift some and don't always handle my movements as well as I would like. I am working on removing a bit of the fluff, but at the moment was curious if anyone had any suggestions for holsters that work better for those not at our fighting weight anymore.

I do realize that clothing choice makes a big difference, but was hoping to find something well built that maintains its comfort level over the course of the day.

Thanks all,

I'm a fan of my MTAC's. Never been uncomfy in them.. even though I have added some fluff..

I am not too fluffy myself but I have tried on quite a few different holsters. In my experience, those IWB holsters that use two separate clips not only distribute the weight of the gun well but, in addition, they tend to not change positions on your waist as often as those that only have one clip or loop.

I don't have one any more but the Milt Sparks Versa Max II has been one of the best holsters I have tried.

I hide my baby glock between my 1st and 2nd spare tires. [Coffee] Otherwise.. a IWB kydex will do fine.

That reminds me of this story.......http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=man%20smuggles%20gun%20into%20jail%20in%20fat&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CDIQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fvoices.yahoo.com%2Ffat-man-smuggles-gun-into-jail-his-fat-5858572.html&ei=tk6xUI_qOuWZyQGe7oDwDA&usg=AFQjCNE4Mlc6Z1ei_1nusQxz4jiPMQNEOg

To the OP, you could always go with "The Keaster Carry" method. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=man%20smuggles%20gun%20into%20jail%20in%20fat&source=web&cd=8&ved=0CFQQFjAH&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.brobible.com%2Flife%2Farticle %2Fheadline-of-the-day-man-smuggles-10-inch-gun-into-jail-by-way-of-his-rectum&ei=qVGxUJuFE6PvygGpsoCoDQ&usg=AFQjCNFS_ARJjUDhZLFrteDTB5AckqLIAw

what type of weapon?

was running a P226 Combat, have recently swapped over to a Glock 19, sig while a great gun was too bulky and even with the short reset trigger had a ton of travel between reset position and fire. Beyond that finding conceal carry options for the p226 was limited, though I can find all the tactical/duty holsters I could ever want for it

I carry a service size XD comfortably in my MTAC Minotaur every day. Great IWB holster. Once you have a Minotaur you can buy just the Kydex pieces for different pistols and swap them to save money.
I am going to buy a Concealment Solutions holster for the Shield next because they talk about them on the Gun Dudes podcast all the time.

Was looking for someplace that carried the Liger Belt in 1.5" but not sure if they went out of business or are just super backlogged. Everywhere seems to be out of stock or only have the 1.25" belts, which aren't horrible, just prefer a bit wider.

Check out LongHorn holsters. He is an Industry Partner here and makes awesome holsters. Very comfortable and wont move around. Light weight very concealable.

No experience with that particular belt, but I love the wilderness belts for adjustability. They last for a while as well, i'm prob going on 5 years with mine.

We have found for our Kahrs that Mitch Rosen Leather makes pretty good stuff. Not cheap, but excellent and the leather smell is awesome. We use a clip on IWB and they don't shift easily. We also have a Ted Blocker, much less costly, still good quality.
