New to Hunting, New to Colorado (Jeffco)

Hey Folks.

I'm new to this game and looking to learn the ropes. Anyone interested in taking a a guy out for a day-hunt? I'm up in the foothills in Jeffco. I have my license for small game and the CO hunter's safety course done and dusted. I've got a .22LR for smalls and a 30.06 for bigs.

I'm interested in this as well. I've never been hunting before and would like to learn. I'm shopping around for rifles now, but looking mostly at .30-06. Any advice is greatly appreciated. My to-do list includes researching the hunting course/license, acquiring the rifle/scope/ammo, gear, and hunting seasons. Does a person have to have a license to observe?

You have to have a license if you are in the field with a rifle. Observe unarmed no.

Hey Alex, glad to see you made it over here from the other site. I think you'll find some pretty good local info on here, even if you dont own a black rifle... yet.
