I had this sent to me and found it interesting but... What is it with engineer types and their lack of ability to be normal? It might be the silly grin.

This must be some sort of EMP.
Sorry if I offended anyone!

Is that kind of like "polishing the man card"?

I just drop my man card off at the cleaners once a week.

How does this work? I mean, I know, electromagnetic waves.
But are the electronics permanently damaged/destroyed? Can they be rebooted after some period, like resetting the ECU in a car? Not all memory/storage on a computer is magnetic, wiping a hard drive doesn't necessarily kill something all the time. But are these EMPs powerful enough to permanently affect the circuitry? The articles are all super vague, saying that they "knock out electronics".

It said in the article it releases several microwave pulses... I wonder how many, how powerful they are, and where it stores the energy to do that?
Hook up with Ginsue and work on his cars...........................

The computers would still fully function following an EMP.

I like how one of the computers barfs out a CD when the pulse hits. It's pretty funny.
I'm not falling for it. Anyone else wonder how they RECORDED the successful elimination of ALL power sources and electronics? How dumb do they think we are?

Not serious. I know what a Faraday Cage is so I don't need to click the link. I was just seeing how many would fall for it but you busted it too soon.
