Putting together an AR for my son and have an RGuns lower and looking for an upper to mate with it. Plan is to keep it pretty basic as an occasional plinking/range toy with an A2 fixed front sight and MOE furniture.

They have one that is running under $500 that is set up the way I want. I have heard they are a decent Tier III manufacture with the only negative being their bolt. No specifics on the problem with their bolt.

Anyone had any experience with RGuns uppers?

Looks like we're neighbors. Woodmoor?

I have a couple of RGuns upper receivers on a UPS truck that should be here Friday. Now trying to find affordable barrels, BCG's, handguards, sights to complete them. That could take a while.

I'll at least be able to eyeball them and fit them to a lower and will give you my impression that far.

I did in fact receive the two RGuns upper receivers on Friday. Purchased from Aim Surplus. These have the FA and dustcover installed and have M4 feed ramps.

Just from appearances they look fine. Neither one has any blemishes and the finish is nice and even all over.

I was able to pick up two barrels, 16" M4 Carbine, 1:7 on Saturday at the CoS gun show.

Now just have to get BCG's, free float handguards, flash hiders, sights.

Thinking of low profile gas blocks and mid length handguards, Magpul BUIS with some form of red dot.

Once I get these two finished that leaves me with one more stripped lower to work on.

I know this is a thread on their uppers, but since it is related anyone had any issues with their lowers? Their turnaround time on manufacturing is pretty good, so trying to get a feel for their product before I invest in some parts that I won't see for 2 months

My son put together AR platforms using Rgun uppers and they shoot!!!
20 rounds the size of a quarter.
Only issue is the ones he did have a really tight chamber, so small bases dies were required to reload.

I ordered my upper on 1/11/2013 and still have NOT seen or heard from them. Did you order on the net or phone it in?

I placed my order for a complete upper on 1/28 and emailed asking for a status on 3/21. No upper and no response. 9 weeks now and counting for an item "In Stock".......ya right! By the way, their estimated shipping at the time was 4 weeks, due to their backlog on shipping.
